Sometimes life pushes you toward decisions that end up changing everything.
After years of trying different paths, working in places where I didn’t feel fulfilled, and going through interviews that never truly led anywhere, I reached a turning point: it was time to bet on myself.
Wedding photography had always fascinated me, but imposter syndrome convinced me I wasn’t ready yet. In 2019, I was accepted as a photographer for a cruise line, and I remember thinking, “This is my big opportunity.”
That experience ultimately made me realize I wanted to build something of my own. It became the push I needed to start my own journey.
I invested in better equipment — a desktop computer and a camera that allowed me to grow creatively and professionally. From that moment on, I stopped waiting for opportunities to come to me, and started creating them for myself.
Today, I truly believe that difficult moments can also open the door to new and abundant paths.

Fun facts:
I love cats, I have a bicolor cat with anxiety who is afraid of everything, and a Siamese who loves bread.
Candia is my last name and has Arabic origins. Why is it at the beginning of my brand? Because family comes first.
The brand carries my last name, but I’m the spitting image of my mother in her youth.
When I was a child, I found history class boring, now I’m starting to read it for pleasure.
